MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
With over twenty five years working for two Fortune 100 companies I learned how inclusive leadership impacts organizational culture and effectiveness. I believe that Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) can be an accelerator for increasing innovation and business performance. Both aspects of D&I are important in organizations. While diversity assures that organizations have a mix of different people, backgrounds and experiences in the workplace; talent won’t thrive, advance or become strong team collaborators without inclusion.
Eight years ago I made a decision to shift from a successful sales and supply chain career to become a Global D&I Professional at Nike Inc. This enabled me to work in a business driving function where I leveraged my strengths in a more rewarding way – by amplifying talent and culture to fuel growth.
In 2019 I launched The Herrington Group (THG) LLC, a D&I consultancy that helps create diverse and inclusive environments where all employees are valued, welcomed and able to contribute to their full potential. We ensure client goals, strategies and initiatives are at the center of our solutions which increase innovation, strengthen culture and improve business performance for their respective teams..
